Engaging, Standards-Aligned After-School Arts Education
World Beat Drummers is an ongoing after-school percussion and rhythm program where students explore rhythm as both a musical language and a cultural expression. Through a structured blend of theory, movement, and hands-on ensemble practice, students develop strong musical foundations while learning how rhythm communicates ideas, emotions, and stories across cultures.
All Kandia World Beat programs are powered by The Kandia Method™, our proprietary, holistic arts education framework.
The program builds coordination, focus, discipline, teamwork, and cultural awareness in a joyful and inclusive learning environment. Classes take place on school campuses, and every 12 weeks students participate in a live ensemble performance that celebrates growth, learning, and collaboration.
The Kandia Method™ is a process-based, standards-aligned educational approach designed to develop confident, creative, and emotionally grounded artists.
Our philosophy prioritizes:
process over performance
grounded in technical and theoretical mastery
confidence before talent
access before excellence
The artist as a whole person
Students develop artistic technique alongside emotional intelligence, collaboration, discipline, and self-confidence. Final performances celebrate learning and growth — not perfection.
